NON-CHURCH ACTIVITY ($50.00 Fee) Request must be made by a church member who will be present at the activity. Fifty percent (50%) of the fee is due with the application, and the balance is due two weeks before the activity.
NON-MEMBER WEDDINGS ($300.00 Fee) A request for use of the church for a non-member wedding must come from a member of Salem who will be in attendance or from the minister of Salem who will preside or be in attendance. The request will be subject to approval by the church council. The organist should be a member of Salem or should be approved by the organist at Salem. If the organist participates, an honorarium of $100.00 will be paid to the organist. The kitchen and social room will not be available for a meal or refreshments. Fifty percent (50%) of the fee is due at the time of application and the balance is due two weeks before the activity.
NON-MEMBER FUNERALS ($300.00 Fee) Under special conditions, with a recommendation from the pastor of Salem and approval of the church council, fees for a non-member funeral may be waived. Otherwise, the same guidelines for non-member weddings apply with the exception of the fee schedule.
